equinepractice.co.uk is the home page of the first opinion equine practice of the Royal Veterinary College.

Diagnosteq (www.diagnosteq.co.uk/index.html) This website, from the University of Liverpool, contains information compiled by vets and scientists who are experts in parasite diseases of horses. Much of the information is aimed at the knowledgeable horse owner.

Equine Grass Sickness (www.grasssickness.org.uk) This website has been set up to provide a source of information for vets and horse owners. The site includes background information on grass sickness, advice for management of horses with chronic grass sickness, information on the Equine Grass Sickness Fund and current research initiatives.

The Laminitis Trust (www.laminitis.org) This site is run by the Laminitis Trust,  the only registered Charity dedicated to supporting research into equine laminitis. Founded in 1998, the Trust runs a help line for concerned horse owners in addition to this website where much helpful information can be obtained at no cost.

Haynet (www.haynet.net/Veterinary_Resources/) provides links to over 14,000 equine related internet sites including veterinary information, vet clinics and hospitals.

Vetgate (www.vetgate.ac.uk) is a searchable catalogue of quality internet resources in animal health. The Vetgate catalogue, maintained by the University of Nottingham, provides links to sites that have been selected by information specialists at Nottingham Greenfield Medical Library, the RCVS and the RVC

Natural Animal Health (www.natural-animal-health.co.uk/) is a UK site dedicated to complementary veterinary medicine and therapies. It lists therapies available, descriptions of each therapy, and notes the training and qualifications required of practitioners. The site contains a directory of Vets currently offering complementary therapies and details the British Laws relating to animal treatments.
